I'm Maggie.
I'm a designer. I’m big on rapid prototyping, human-centered design, and soft robotics. I'm also a scientist and an artist. I like to work on sensible human-centered products, experimental bio-inspired technologies, tangible interfaces, and crazy-but-not-so-crazy ideas. I am currently a Senior Product Designer for Planet.
Previously, I worked as an early-stage product designer at Amazon on soft & human-centered robotics, health-tech, and visual presence technologies.
In 2019 I finished my Master's of Design in Cambridge, MA at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Before that, I completed an undergraduate degree in Integrative (evolutionary) Biology with a Human-Computer Interaction Focus at the University of California, Berkeley. Thanks to a big, spread-out family, I consider my hometown to be divided in equal parts between Starkville, Mississippi, and Austin, Texas.
